5 THINGS TO DO IN NEW YORK

LOOK UP:

It might seem like something very simple. But I can't believe the amount of time I spent just looking up at the buildings around me. It was all a bit surreal and I couldn't help but feel as though I was a cast member of gossip girl xoxo.

CENTRAL PARK:

It is one of New York Cities biggest landmarks and is full of life.  Its a lot bigger than I anticipated it to be and there were plenty of locations for outfit photographs. Attempting to ice-skate (badly) was a lot of fun and was very scenic and memorable being within the heart of the city.

VISIT THE TOP OF THE ROCK:

This skyline is the perfect outfit post opportunity. Its arguably the most instagrammable place in the world. It was at this point in the trip that I realised New York was A LOT bigger than I thought it was. I had been wrapped up in a fifth avenue bubble and had no idea how much there was still to explore.

EXPLORING AT NIGHT:

The city is just as beautiful at night time as it is in the day. I was blown away with Times Square and I hope that one day my name, idea, brand or SOMETHING is up on one of those billboards. Watching a broadway show was my personal highlight of the trip. IT WAS INSANE. Kinky Boots is a must see.

BROOKLYN:

We got a ferry over to Willamsberg which is described as a 'hip neighbourhood that draws the young and fashionable to its chic boutiques.' I can't say I was dissapointed. The place was full of culture with the range of food, street art and AMAZING vintage stores. I couldn't resist buying my millionth pair of sunglasses.
